Q: Will I still receive the same level of service I’ve always had?

Q: How will you communicate updates about the transition?
A: We’ll be sending regular email updates to keep you informed. Additionally, you’re welcome to attend our Meet & Greet event on January 18th, 2024 at your regular office at 411 St. Michael’s Dr, Ste 6 to ask questions in person.
Q: How can I meet the new team?
A: We’re hosting a Meet & Greet event on January 18th, 2024 at your regular office at 411 St. Michael’s, Dr Ste 6 for all clients. You’re invited to join us to meet the team, ask questions, and learn more about how we’ll continue to serve you. Details will be in your invitation.

Tax Portal and Technology FAQs

Q: What is the Tax Portal?
A: The Tax Portal is an optional online tool that allows you to securely upload documents, review returns, sign forms electronically, and communicate directly with our team—all from the convenience of your device.
Q: What are the benefits to using the Tax Portal?
A: Our Tax Portal allows for quicker communication, faster document submission, and electronic signatures and payment methods—saving you time and providing a more streamlined experience. Please review the Tax Portal Information Sheet for more information.
Q: Is using the Tax Portal required?
A: No, but we encourage all new and existing clients to use our Tax Portal for all of its many benefits provided to our clients making tax season as easy as possible for you. You can still continue to submit documents in the traditional way if that’s more comfortable for you. However we are offering a special discount for early adopters of our portal this year. More details coming soon!
Q: How do I sign up for the Tax Portal?
A: We will be sending all new clients an invite link for our Tax Portal in January. You’ll receive an email invitation with step-by-step instructions on how to set up your Portal account. If you need help, our support team is happy to assist.
Q: What if I prefer to bring my documents in person?
A: If scanning all your documents isn’t possible, you can still take advantage of our Tax Portal for streamlined communication, a personalized questionnaire and progress tracking while bringing your documents to our office. Please review the Tax Portal Information Sheet for more information.
Q: Will there be support for using the Tax Portal?
A: Absolutely! We’ll provide easy-to-follow instructions when we send out the Tax Portal invitation in January, and our team is available to answer questions and guide you through the process.
Billing and Payments FAQs
Q: Will the billing process change?
A: Yes, for your convenience we’ll now collect payment upon completion of your tax return. If you choose to use our secure Tax Portal, you’ll be able to pay directly through the portal when you sign. If you prefer to come in and sign your return, you can pay when you come in to sign.
Q: Is there a discount for using the Portal?
A: Yes! We’re offering a special discount for clients who choose to adopt our Tax Portal this tax season as part of our early adoption program. Details will be provided in our correspondence very soon!
Q: Will my pricing change?
A: Your pricing for tax preparation will be similar to what you’ve been paying, with any updates reflecting standard annual adjustments for inflation and industry changes. We are committed to keeping our pricing fair while continuing to provide the high-quality service you’ve come to expect.
However, as a thank you for joining our secure Tax Portal, we’re excited to offer a special discount on your tax preparation fees this year as part of our early adoption program. Tax Process FAQs
Q: Will my tax return still be handled the same way?
A: Yes, our team will ensure that your tax return is prepared with the same accuracy and attention to detail you’re used to. We’re simply adding more resources to support you.
Q: Who will handle my account during tax season?
A: You’ll have a dedicated team member to handle your account, ensuring continuity and personalized service. With our President, Eloisa Rivera, being an Enrolled Agent licensed by the IRS, you can rest assured that your account will be managed with the highest level of expertise and care. Our team is here to support you every step of the way.

Q: Will my returns still be prepared on time?
A: Absolutely. As long as you meet the documentation deadlines outlined in your Client Engagement Agreement, you can expect your return to be completed on time. Engagement Agreements can be reviewed and signed directly in our Tax Portal (an emailed Engagement Agreement is possible on request to be brought back to one of our locations for filing).
If information and documents are provided after these dates, your return will most likely go on extension. Our team is dedicated to ensuring timely and accurate returns when deadlines are met, and we will communicate clearly if an extension is necessary.
If you already know you’ll need to file an extension, please let us know as early as possible. This helps us streamline communication and focus on preparing your return when you’re ready.
Q: How will I know if my return is ready?
A: Our secure Tax Portal makes it easy to track the real-time status of your return and receive updates as it progresses. Once your return is complete, you’ll receive a notification through our Tax Portal with instructions for reviewing and signing it.
If you choose not to use our Tax Portal, no problem—we’ll notify you via email or phone to ensure you stay informed every step of the way.
Q: Will my unique needs still be addressed?
A: Yes, our expanded team means quicker response times and more support for your questions. You’ll always have someone available to help, whether it’s your dedicated account manager or our support desk.

Q: How is my data being protected?
A: Your data security is our top priority. Our Tax Portal is SOC2 compliant, meaning it meets the highest standards for data security. All files and communications are encrypted, and we use multi-factor authentication to ensure only authorized users have access.
Q: Will my personal information be shared?
A: Absolutely not. We strictly adhere to privacy laws and do not share your personal information with any third parties.
